Like we said before in other posts, this will be an animal MMO, of course there will be an rp server, that has no pk, items, or anything like that, for those that just want strict rp, but like any MMO you will have squads in order to go through dungeons and such, since you aren't the biggest predator out there in the EL world.
But of course since we are trying to stay realistic, you will have bonuses and negatives for making your squads.
You get bonuses for:
*All species squads.
(All equines, all canines, ect.)
*No nerf squads.
(Everyone within the same 10 level range. Meaning level 30-40 and so on, this means not having a high level just kill everything for you.)
* Threading together attacks in a logical manner.
(You get bonus damage on an enemy for using attacks in a smart manner, if you see your horse neighbor getting ready to buck, and you send one off around the same time, you do extra damage for a "Team Attack" or a "Assist." )
*Protecting your "healer."
(Like any MMO, there will be a healing/save your butt class in the game. Their heals will have a greater effect if you keep them safe. Aka, they don't take damage while in the dungeon, their heals do more, they take damage in the dungeon, their heals do less. So tanks, keep your healer safe, and hope your healer can play their class. xD)
*Survive logically.
(Anyone who has played an MMO knows how annoying it can be when you have that one person run off ahead of the squad and get slaughtered, and then complain about it. Well you get a DEFENSE BONUS for the squad if they stay within close range of each other. [Note: This defense bonus does not affect the healer, since most likely they will be out of range to be safe against enemy AOE (Area of effect.) attacks.] )
You get negatives for:[/u]
*Mixed Squads:
(Horses, Canines, Felines, Dragons, all in the same squad, since likely they will be hunting each other in the game, they probably all wouldn't be trying to help each other in the first place.)
*Nerf Squads
(Felines will have a stealth ability that allows them to go invisible for a short amount of time based on their level. But if their is a high level feline, their steal ability will be reduced to whoever the lowest level in the squad is. So if a level 200 stealthing feline is with a level 20 feline, their ability is reduced to level 20 and mobs [monsters] would be able to see them. They also take a damage lost, aka they will hit like the level 20 as well, no point in bringing along a high level to a low level dungeon.)
*The Enemies List
(Your packs/prides/clans/flocks will have the ability to declare war on each other. Mortal enemies, if you are in a squad with a character from an enemy pack/pride/clan/flock, the squad will take a stat hit every hour they are in the dungeon, making it even harder to get through. The idea is to not have the over powered packs/prides/clans/flocks, picking on the smaller ones, cause in the end, they lose as well.)
More coming as I continue coding.
