I know it's been a while for alot of you, but I've gotten some work done on the animation of the Wolf Model. I need to make many adjustments to the legs also, especially in the run cycle. It'll be much better once I finish the flaws, for now I hope you enjoy this update.
It will also be much appreciate it if you can point out any flaws that I can fix, anatomy wise of course, that you think should be fixed, it will be a great help and the model will be finished earlier! -Lugai-

Wonderful walk-cycle, Lugai. Anatomy-wise, I'd make the tail a little thicker. I applaud you for making the tail the right length (so many people insist on giving a wolf a long, ridiculously fluffy squirrel tail!), but from what I've seen of wolf tails, they always seem to be a little bit fluffier than what I see here, even when the wolves are in their thin summer coats.

It wasn't me who modeled it, I only animated it. X3 (I would make a SquirrelDog if I could, believe me)

as said in the staff chat, the walk should be left leg + right back leg moving first, and then the other two. c:
the run cycle looks as though its coming along nicely.
if you do have trouble with movements of a certain body part, id suggest looking up videos on how canines move and such, if that would help you any.

The tail isn't a tail It's the bone for tail designs.

Adding to this there is a slight gap between the diagonals, they don't put the diagonals at the same time. (I don't know if you meant this.) Also with the run cycle it looks...stiff to me, I think the legs contract and extend a lot more while running! But it looks great so far!!

Pah, I've been meaning to reply on this recently, but I have been lazy.
Anyway, I think it looks wonderful :D

Yay! Great job Lugai! Thanks for the update. Also (if I may point out) I think the tail could use a some more movement in the walk and run cycles.

Sorry ive posted a bit late ive just joined the site but; Maybe for the walking cycle you could make the tail move a more side to side as the wolf walks, also maybe the legs to bend a little more and the body to move slightly up and down in rhythm with the walk. Now the running cycle; As the wolf is running maybe give the tail a little more movement, and the legs need to stretch more along with bend more. As the wolf runs its lets usually look like they are touching (if you get what i mean?). Also maybe make the rear end of the wolf slightly higher than the front half as it runs and maybe make it a little ledd stiff.
Heres some videos: www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1q4obQDRkswww.youtube.com/watch?v=kyE-yCWAIDM www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqSnb7Ux2jk Sorry if ive intruded and sound a bit rude but im just trying to help . Anyway off the note of saying some improvements and on to your work; i must say youve done a very good job on creating the wolf model, i know i couldnt do anything like this. Keep up the good work!. Also, I never made the wolf model, I simply animated it.
